Dharma Parichaya Committee

( 1 ) Fifteen individuals are engaged in religious outreach activities in the field. Among them, there are those who provide full-time, halftime, part-time, or partial-time services. Both men and women are serving in their respective capacities.

 

( 2 ) They engage in daily field work, personally interacting with individuals, conducting direct conversations, distributing pamphlets and religious texts, and engaging in positive discussions with religious scholars and leaders on various topics.

 

( 3 ) They enter temples and churches, addressing religious scholars and congregations, delivering speeches based on their religious texts about the oneness of God, Prophethood, and the afterlife. They also engage in dialogues and question-answer sessions to address their queries.

 

( 4 ) A ten-day religious training program is conducted annually in the month of May. Selected individuals (Males and females) from across Andhra Pradesh participate in this program. Religious scholars and preachers from both Telugu states provide training. The program includes both theoretical and practical sessions, with theoretical sessions conducted from morning until Zuhr Namaz and practical sessions following Asr Namaz. Accommodations, meals, and other necessary arrangements are made for all participants. Upon completion, participants receive certificates and books related to the propagation of religion as gifts.

 

( 5 ) Monthly training sessions are conducted for both new and experienced religious preachers, with a focus on training in religious propagation. The training incorporates insights from the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, and Quran. Additionally, solutions are provided for challenges and problems commonly faced in the field of religious propagation. These twoday sessions include night prayers (Tahajjud), Quranic teachings after Fajr prayer, and practical field work. Refreshments, lunch, and classroom sessions are also part of the program.

 

( 6 ) In Kuwait, India’s Independence Day and Republic Day are celebrated on a large scale by inviting various Muslim and non-Muslim organizations to a hotel or school hall. Representatives from 14 non- Muslim organizations in Kuwait participate. They deliver messages related to Indian Independence and Republic Day in the light of the Indian Constitution and the Quran. Similarly, during Ramadan and Bakrid festivals in Kuwait, an ‘Eid Milap’ program is organized in a hotel together with non-Muslims. Messages about Ramadan and Bakrid are delivered in Telugu to the people. Religious literature is also distributed to them.

 

( 7 ) During the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, flowers, sweets, perfume, and books on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in both Telugu and English languages are distributed to government officials, district and mandal-level judges, lawyers, MLAs, MPs, and individuals from religious, social, and political backgrounds to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

 

( 8 ) The TV channel broadcasts speeches on various topics in the Telugu language. Additionally, dialogues and panel discussions involving Muslim and non-Muslim scholars and leaders are recorded and broadcast. Similarly, songs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), praises of Allah, and other songs are also broadcast in the Telugu language.

 

( 9 ) Our message bearers, through the Sphoorti Telugu Islamic channel, present various programs. They also deliver Telugu speeches through the radio and convey messages through various TV channels.

 

( 10 ) In 2017, a monthly magazine called ‘Parichayam’ was launched in the Telugu language with the aim of spreading Islamic messages widely and dispelling misconceptions about Islam. It publishes high-quality articles on various topics, including Quran and Hadith interpretations, question-and-answer sessions, and articles related to the companions of the Prophet.
