Hakim Luqman Health Center

A medical department was established to provide treatment to underprivileged patients. Under the name “Hakim Luqman Health Center,” medical camps are occasionally held in various parts of the district, where patients are examined, treated, and given free medicines. Both Muslim and non-Muslim men and women participate in these camps.

A two-month-long Kidney Stone Medical Camp was organized. Hundreds of people suffering from kidney stones received treatment with Unani medicine. After conducting scans, medicines are provided, and within two to three weeks, the kidney stones dissolve. The treatment is given free of cost, avoiding the need for surgery or expensive medications. In Kuwait as well, a branch of the Kadapa Islamic Welfare Society is operational, under whose supervision medical camps are held in various areas at different times.

During the 2020-21 COVID-19 pandemic, ration was distributed to 15,000 needy Muslim and non-Muslim individuals. Six thousand bottles of herbal medicine (Kashayam) were brought from Muhammadiya Medical College and distributed for free. When oxygen was needed for patients, ten oxygen machines were purchased and provided to people free of charge. An ambulance was also made available for transporting patients and bodies, offering its services to everyone, regardless of caste or religion. These services are still ongoing. ““During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kadapa Islamic Welfare Society’s branch in Kuwait also distributed ration and medicine to Indians living in Kuwait, working in coordination with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs to provide assistance.
